This CD-ROM is an interactive defect guide to the most common surface mount and conventional defects seen during wave soldering. The defects are all shown on pages as thumbnail images so that users do not have to know what the defect is or what terms are used to define it. Selecting the defect presents the user with a large view of the defect and a scrolling text box explains the defect and the possible reasons for the problem and some remedial action. Clicking on the picture allows the defect to be viewed full screen and is ideal for training or a practical reference source.
